A Day with Trenton Circus Squad

The Trenton Circus Squad  delivered an unforgettable workshop experience for the children of JISU. Together, we explored the dedication, discipline, and teamwork it takes to become a circus performer.

Participants—kids and even a few brave adults—had the chance to try the trapeze, walk the tightrope, master stilts, juggle, ride the mini cycle, and more. One of the most powerful moments was building human pyramids—an exercise that reminded us all that true strength comes from supporting one another.

The day was a joyful and impactful lesson in collaboration, balance, and trust.

Lights. Camera. Beyond Expectations.

Beyond Expectations provides life skills to youth through media education and service leadership. The children of The JISU Experience find joy in time shared with their siblings through various hands-on activities designed to foster their relationship and the realization that they belong to a 'family'.  We serve siblings who have been reunited but may have difficulty in rebonding. They have the opportunity to work on issues that impact and sometimes hinder their reconnection, reunification, and personal growth.  They are also exposed to other children impacted by the system and who may be experiencing similar feelings of loss and disconnection.

Ultimately, we help them become beautiful, healthy, viable participants and contributors to society and to function as complete and caring individuals.

SPLASH Floating Classroom: Learning on the Delaware River

Where sibling bonding meets environmental education on the water.

The SPLASH Floating Classroom provides JISU youth with an unforgettable educational adventure aboard a steamboat on the Delaware River. While strengthening sibling connections, participants learn about watershed health, river ecosystems, and their role as future environmental stewards through hands-on activities guided by dedicated volunteers from the Senior Environment Corps.

The experience combines environmental learning with sibling bonding as youth explore steamboat operations, discover the Delaware River's ecosystem, and connect with surrounding communities—all while spending quality time with their brothers and sisters. The day concludes with a riverside picnic, creating lasting memories of learning, connection, and fun.

Where education flows as naturally as the river itself.
